Working and pre party
You could say mixing pleasure with pleasure (working and partying). The time is 00.15 and the day just turn from Saturday to Sunday. Right now we’re working on finishing the Databox Games web site and drinking a bit. Drinking and working isn’t good if you’re a bus driver, but if you’re making games it can sometimes help to get really great ideas, … well until you sober up :p
Test of 3d importing into the engine
At the weekly meeting yesterday I asked everyone to each give me some material for the blog. I just got this video from Nixi and he told me to put it on the blog. He said that the video shows how he and Tekie are testing to import a 3d model into the game engine. Well I’m not sure if he’s doing that or if he’s just telling me that I was annoying to give him that assignment or both*lol. Check out the video and you’ll probably figure it out. This won’t end up in PoH, unless Playboy buys Databox Games :p

The writers diary
Databox Team is back after 2 weeks holiday and the start of 2009 is looking good for us. The Winter has come=( (unfortunately) and icy winds are attacking our beloved Gotland. Kids play in the snow, old people slip on the icy pavement, but I remain inside. Safe from harm. Since I’m not a winter-being, I have had the luxury to barricade myself indoors playing lots of games, read some fantasy, drank some alcohol and sat down just thinking. Thinking about our game and what features we could add to make it even better.
