We make games! This master course that we’re taking is “designed” solely around a game project. So the first assignment and materials we got was to make a pitch for the game and to do market, design and programming research. As the game progress we get material and assignment that we can relate to and take advantage of in the making of Penalty of Heroes. So every reading material and assignment we get, we can relate 100% to our game. So we make a game with the support of literature and the teachers : )
Here’re some examples of the weekly questions we have to answer:

- What types of Stakeholders does your project entail and list them
- State the key circumstances relevant for your project
- What are the key agreements you need to make?
- What are your main Organizational, technical, game design, artistic risks?

Here’s some text from the material we get:

template high concept

In order for the High Concept not to become obstructive, at a later point, it must reflect a factual version of a project’s key elements. The simplest way to secure this is to use the four key aspects of a concept as the foundation for the High Concept:
- Intention
- Expression
- Circumstances
- Application

.

So now you know a little bit more about how it works and what we’re up to : )
